Who we are

CyberLane is a founder-led cybersecurity advisory practice based in Singapore, serving customers worldwide. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in the course of advisory engagements.

Information we collect

When you submit the contact form we collect the details you provide: your name, company, work email address, the area you are interested in, and your message.

When you apply to the CyberLane Expert Network we collect the details you provide in the application form: your name, work email address, LinkedIn profile URL, location, markets and languages, primary expertise, experience summary, availability, preferred engagement type, an optional link to a hosted CV, and your consent to be contacted.

We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal information. Standard server logs may record technical request data such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability purposes.

How we use it

We use contact enquiries solely to respond, to discuss a potential engagement, and to maintain a record of business correspondence. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.

We use Expert Network applications to assess fit for the network, to contact you about your application, and to consider you for relevant client assignments. Applying does not guarantee an assignment, and we will not share your details with a client without discussing it with you first.

Storage and retention

Enquiries and Expert Network applications are stored in a private database that is not publicly readable; only trusted CyberLane server-side processes can write to it and only authorised CyberLane personnel can access the records.

We retain enquiries for as long as needed to manage the enquiry and any resulting business relationship. Expert Network applications are retained while your profile remains relevant to the network, and are deleted on request or when they are no longer required.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. Where an engagement involves a specialist technology vendor or delivery partner, we only share details relevant to that work and only with your knowledge. We may also share information where required by law.

Service providers

This website and its enquiry database run on third-party hosting and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
